UNBEATABLE! That’s the only word to describe the Wrexham-based North Dragons Firestorm under 13s team this season.

The team has enjoyed a double success this season, winning the Deeside Junior League u13 section in style and also finishing top of the Division Two table in the Greater Manchester League.

They remained unbeaten in 24 games in the Deeside League and didn’t lose a game in the Greater Manchester League.

Coached and mentored by Hayley Forrester, the team have also qualified in the top four of the Welsh Nationals competition where they are the only under 13s team in an U14s competition.

Proud coach Forrester said: “They have had a formidable season and their dedication and commitment to training is commendable.

“They were awarded their English League winners trophy during the half time break at the Super League game between Manchester Thunder and Severn Stars which was a great experience for the girls.

“They will collect their winners league trophies at finals day in Deeside Leisure Centre on April 27.

“I couldn’t be more proud to share the success with these girls.

“They are passionate, hard working and their commitment is unique. They are a fantastic bunch of girls with an amazing dedicated parent troupe behind them and I look forward to continuing their success into next season.

“To have played 32 games and remain undefeated is a testament to their ability. We have the greatest bond on and off the court and that is so special to me.”

Parent Tracy Kocker said: “Congratulations to our amazing girls on an undefeated season.

“They are just an amazing team and are so supportive of each other.

“Hayley is an amazing coach and friend and the girls love her and her dedication to our girls amazes me.”
