KERRIE JONES has made the highest break of the season in the Wrexham Snooker League for a second week in a row.
Having posted a run of 72 in his last win, Jones went even better with a 78 break as his Gwersyllt Club B side drew 3-3 at Brymbo Cons Club.
Leaders Gwersyllt Club A were also held to a 3-3 draw by Brymbo Sports A.
Liam Roberts made a clearance of 36 in his 95-19 victory over Pete Millington to put Gwersyllt ahead but Kevin Conway beat Kenny Hughes 51-49 to level the scores.
Owen Barry (74-38 over Vaughan Pritchard) gave Gwersyllt the lead again but Huw Jones (57-37 against Terry Roberts) made it 2-2 and David Wynne (96-23 over Dave Kelly) put Brymbu put 3-2 up.
But Gwersyllt took the aggregate 278-261 to secure a draw and they are now four points ahead of second placed Gresford VRC A who defeated Rhos Snooker Club 5-1.
War Memorial A thrashed their B side 6-0 to stay third, St Marys A beat Johnstown RBL B 4-2, Gresford VRC C lost 5-1 against Gresford VRC B and Johnstown RBL A drew 3-3 with St Marys B.

n Corus have taken over at the top of the Deeside League.
A 5-1 victory at Groves B took them to the summit and the leaders hold a one point advantage over Buckley Cons A and Groves A.
Buckley won 4-2 against Ewloe B and Groves defeated Flint RBL 5-1.
Buckley Cons D in fourth were held to a 3-3 draw by Buckley Cons B, Ewloe C saw off Navy Seals 4-2, Navy A lost 4-2 against Ewloe A and Ranch B overcame Ranch A 4-2.
