ALEC MUDIMU has been crowned Zimbabwe Young Achievers Sports Personality of the Year.
The Cefn Druids midfielder won the coveted prize after starring on the international stage for his country.
Mudimu helped Zimbabwe win the COSAFA Cup and has played a key role in Sunday Chidzambwa's side's impressive African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
Speaking at the awards evening in Coventry, Mudimu said: "I want to thank everyone who took time out to vote and support me, this is amazing!
"It's not all been rainbows and flowers, my close people will know the hard work that has gone into making this year great. Thank you again."
Druids chairman John Hughes tweeted Mudimu to congratulate him, writing: "Well done Alec. Superb achievement. Druids are proud of you. Another one for our history books."
