DAVID LLOYD was left with mixed emotions after falling agonisingly short of a first County Championship century.
The Glamorgan stand-in skipper was dismissed for 97, which included 14 fours, as he and Marnus Labuschagne, who finished on 106, put on 138 for the third wicket against Worcestershire.
"It's nice to spend some time in the middle and contribute," said the former Brymbo ace.
"I felt good after a long net on Friday doing a few technical things, and just seeing the ball and reacting on instinct.
"I'm disappointed not to get my first championship century of the season."
