Mold came unstuck as they lost an entertaining game with visiting Conwy by four wickets.

Conwy slipped to 24 for two in reply, but a brilliant 99 from Daniel Davies steadied the ship, before Gareth Thomas’ 36 helped the away side over the line with 25 balls to spare.

Dilan Jayawardene hit 36 but that couldn’t prevent Bersham (68) from losing to Llanrwst (69-0) by 10 wickets, while Gwion Dafydd’s half century proved in vain as Carmel and District (157) were beaten by 83 runs at the hands of Ruthin (240-9).
