Saturday's National League North clash between Chester and Gateshead has been postponed.
A local National League referee inspected the Deva pitch on Friday evening but, due to waterlogged areas of the playing surface and heavy rain forecast through the night, the decision was taken to call the game off.
Chester FC issued a statement following the postponement.
It said: “Every effort was made to try and get the match on – but the weather has defeated us on this occasion.
“Gateshead’s early departure time in the morning was also taken into account, a decision has been made as early as possible.
“A new date for this fixture will be announced in due course – stay tuned to our social channels for further info.”
Chester's away clash at Gateshead last month was also called off, with the Blues subsequently losing 2-0 in a rescheduled midweek clash.
The Blues will now face two further rescheduled midweek fixtures, with their rearranged clash at Alfreton town set to be played on March 24.
