CHESTER FC has confirmed that wing back Bradley Jackson has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 22-year-old joined from Ashton United in December and instantly made a good impression, looking like a shrewd signing by joint managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley.

Jackson, who joined the club as a right winger, played at right back towards the business end of the season, gaining a number of rave reviews for his performances and making 21 National League North appearances for the Blues, including 19 starts.

Jackson has agreed a deal after committing to the club's new hybrid training scheme which was announced earlier this week.

Speaking to ChesterFC.com, he said: “I’m very happy to be signing again for Chester.

“I already can’t wait to get going for the new season. It was frustrating for us finishing three points short of the play-offs but this year we will put it right and aim higher.”
