Chester FC Under 18’s clinched the National League Alliance Division J title in style with a 6-0 hammering of Stockport County at the Swansway Stadium on Wednesday night.
In a reversal of the same-score defeat inflicted by County on Chester's senior side a night earlier, the young Blues turned in a rampant display to lift the league trophy.
First half goals by Cain Noble and Lloyd Marsh-Hughes were added to by an own goal before the break.
In the second half, Leighton Kendrick made it four after good work from Stuart Crilly before Sam McCormick scored a brace – the first goal his first touch off the bench after his return from 14 months out following ACL operation.
Delighted Youth Team manager Callum McIntyre took to social media post-match and wrote: "So so so proud of everyone of our players this evening. What a season. #Champions"
