CHESTER will travel to Southport in the FA Trophy third qualifying round.

The game will take place at Haig Avenue on Saturday November 24 and Chester will come up against former Blues boss Jon McCarthy, who is assistant manager to Southport chief Liam Watson.

Both teams have had contrasting fortunes in National League North this season.

Chester are currently fifth in the table while Southport are second from bottom.

Defending champions Brackley Town, managed by former Wrexham boss Kevin Wilkin, entertain Nuneaton Borough, Kidderminster Harriers host York City, Bradford Park Avenue travel to Altrincham and Stockport County welcome Chorley.
