TO quote Professor Albus Dumbledore, time is a curious thing.
You’ll get no arguments from me about that. It’s a well-known phenomenon that time slows down as you near a black hole.
Well, that black hole is Wrexham AFC!
I got thinking the other day about the Reds’ epic “hand of Foz” 3-2 Easter Bank Holiday win over Notts County.
And then thinking more about it, I realised that game was played last year.
That’s ridiculous. Surely two-or-three years ago would be closer to the truth, but it demonstrates how far Phil Parkinson’s side has developed in such a short space of time.
Matches with Rotherham, Huddersfield and Charlton appeared but a pipe dream back then, indeed there were five divisions between the Terriers and Wrexham just five years ago.
But here we are... and Wrexham aren’t looking out of place towards the top of the table.
Let’s see how the next few months pan out and, perhaps, another promotion is in store!
Time will tell...
