LILI JONES wants Wrexham to take the positive aspects from their defeat versus Swansea City into their next Adran Premier contest.
The Reds are still seeking a first victory of the campaign following their 3-2 loss at The SToK Racecourse, but efforts from Ava Suckley and Rosie Hughes did make sure Wrexham broke their duck in front of goal and next up is Sunday’s trip to Aberystwyth Town.
Midfielder Jones told S4C’s Sgorio: “It’s difficult. There was good play, but again not good enough.
“We haven’t put a point on the board yet. But we’ll rise again.
“We’ll take the good bits from this game and take them into the next game.”
It’s now three losses in a row for the Reds and Jones added: “We’re just not scoring enough goals.
“We’ve scored two tonight, the first of the season for us. So, we’ll take that, but it’s not good enough.
“We’ve got to start putting points on the board and we have to do that next Sunday.”
It was a special day for Swansea City defender Nia Jones, who hails from Wrexham.
She said: “So cool! This is the place I came to watch my first live game when I was a child.
“It’s really nice. My family is up in the stand, so it’s nice.”
