IT will be the battle of the League One clean sheet kings when Wrexham face Stevenage at The Lamex Stadium on Tuesday night.
Reds goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo kept his fifth shut-out in eight league matches on Saturday when Phil Parkinson's high-fliers drew 0-0 with Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road.
That is the joint-most clean sheets in the third tier this season along with Stevenage custodian Murphy Cooper and Wigan Athletic stopper Sam Tickle.
Stevenage have gone one better in all competitions in 2024-25 with six shut-outs.
With Cooper rested, Dean Bouzanis took over the between the posts and never let a goal in as Stevenage beat Crystal Palace Under 21s 1-0 in a Football League Trophy group game.
Murphy has only conceded five goals in eight league outings this season, although Stevenage have only found the back of the net six times and are 11th in the table with 11 points.
Okonkwo has let in six goals but Wrexham have struck 14 times at the other end and are second with 17 points from eight matches.
