LILI JONES is looking for Wrexham to put things right when they make their Racecourse return on Sunday.
Steve Dale’s Reds are back at the SToK Cae Ras for their home Adran Premier League clash with Swansea City and Wrexham are still seeking a first league point of the season.
Last Sunday’s comprehensive 3-0 away loss versus Briton Ferry Llansawel did follow a hugely promising showing in the opening day 2-0 defeat to defending champions Cardiff City.
Midfielder Jones, last season’s Adran Premier young player of the season, told the club’s YouTube channel: “It’s massive. We should have reacted second half (at Briton Ferry) and we didn’t.
“So we’ve really got to put some things right at The Cae Ras and I think what a better place to do it.
“You know, we’ll work hard in training this week and we’ll 100 per cent be putting things right on Sunday against Swansea.”
Swansea are unbeaten so far this season, having picked up four points from their opening two matches.
Sunday also sees action in the North East FA Women’s Cup.
Holders Connah’s Quay Nomads and last season’s runners-up Airbus both have home ties to look forward to.
