PHIL PARKINSON wanted to see for himself what Leyton Orient are capable of.

The O’s sneaked a 1-0 win at Parkinson’s old club Reading two weeks ago before following it up with a fantastic 4-1 win at Stockport County last weekend.

But the London side haven’t won yet at Brisbane Road where they were held to a 2-2 draw by Darren Ferguson’s Peterborough United on Tuesday.

Wrexham boss Parkinson made the long trip to the East End to watch tomorrow’s opponents.

“Their last two results have been good, winning at Reading and Stockport and it was good for me to able to see them on Tuesday night,” said Parkinson, whose side top the League One table on goal difference from Birmingham City.

“We’ll have a gameplan and I’m really looking forward to going to London and Brisbane Road - an old traditional ground.”

Tom O’Connor picked up a slight knock but was back in training yesterday and Parkinson looks likely to go with the same side who beat Crawley Town 2-1 at The SToK Racecourse last Saturday.
