CONNAH’S QUAY NOMADS U14s prevented The New Saints gaining a whitewash in their Football Association of Wales Academy clashes.

Nomads held TNS to a 3-3 draw as The Saints marched on in all their other four games.

Frankie Connolly’s double helped Nomads pick up a point.

In the U19s League, Caleb Afful and Jake Morris helped TNS to a 2-0 win over Nomads, who suffered 2-1, 6-1, 4-2 and 5-3 defeats in their U16s, 15s, U13s and U12s encounters.

Tom Dougherty, Franciszek Sadczuk and Dan Semple earned Airbus a 3-2 win over Caernarfon Town in the U19s League while Ben Hoban was Flint Town United’s marksman in a 2-1 defeat at Newtown.

Flint triumphed 3-0 at Newtown in the U16s League thanks to goals from Dylan Culshaw-Roberts, Aiden Calby and Joseph Hayes.

Stanley Edwards, Kacper Bury and Nataniel Rakowiecki scored as Airbus went down 5-3 to Caernarfon.

Flint lead the way in the U13s League after captain Will Harding-Pears’ hat-trick sealed a 4-0 win against Newtown.

Rafael Frank also netted while Airbus drew 3-3 at Caernarfon, who beat the young Wingmakers, for whom Jake Xavier scored twice, 5-3 in the U12s League.

Flint were 3-0 winners against Newtown in the day’s other game.
