HOW good is it to be back in League One?
Wycombe, Bolton, Reading and now Peterborough, every week Wrexham are coming up against tough opponents and big clubs but it’s a case of so far, so good!
No-one will be getting carried away by the excellent and unbeaten start to the season but everyone has to be happy with the way Phil Parkinson’s side have hit the ground running.
The brilliant home form under the Reds’ boss has continued and it will be interesting to see how Wrexham fare on away days in the third tier.
It was a hard-fought point in the first away game at Bolton and it doesn’t get any easier with a trip to The Posh who are used to securing a play-off spot under former Wrexham captain Darren Ferguson.
Parkinson has to decide whether to put Paul Mullin back in the starting XI after the striker made his comeback from injury last weekend.
It’s great to have Mullin available again but while he’s played a vital role in Wrexham’s rise through the divisions, it is very much a team game and Parkinson needs everyone firing in a difficult division.
OUR PREDICTIONS:
PETERBOROUGH UNITED 1 WREXHAM 1 NICK HARRISON
PETERBOROUGH UNITED 0 WREXHAM 1 RICHARD WILLIAMS
PETERBOROUGH UNITED 2 WREXHAM 1 SHAUN DAVIES
THE SCORES SO FAR... NICK HARRISON 4; SHAUN DAVIES 3; RICHARD WILLIAMS 2
