CARL FORSTER says North Wales Crusaders will have nobody to blame but themselves if they miss out on the League One play-offs.
A victory at fourth-placed Rochdale Hornets on Sunday will take Crusaders’ fight to qualify for the end-of-season play-offs into the last match of the campaign.
However, a 12th defeat of the season will likely mean that Forster’s side will miss out on a top-six finish.
Head coach Forster (pictured above) told CruCast: “If we do make the play-offs, yeah, happy days and it’s all good and we’ll go in there with loads of confidence.
“But, deep down, we’ve lost games - we’ve spoken about where the decisions have gone against us - but at the weekend, that was all our own doing.
“I think Hunslet at home, it was all our own doing and there’s been games there where we’ve cost ourselves the game. So, ultimately, when you add them points up and we’ve missed out, we’ll potentially miss out on points difference if it goes the way you might see it going.
“At the end of the day, we don’t deserve it.”
