CARL FORSTER says North Wales Crusaders are in a good frame of mind heading into a crucial weekend.

Crusaders are looking to end a six-match losing sequence on Sunday when they play host to Workington Town, coached by former Cru chief Anthony Murray.

Last time out, Crusaders pushed title-chasing Oldham all the way in an epic 25-24 loss.

Forster told CruCast: “It’s all good. We came in after the Oldham game on the Wednesday, did a little bit of video.

“Looked at some, obviously, really good stuff and, obviously, harshly as it is, that’s the profession we’re in.

“We looked at where we lost the game and just little individual errors and defence, that kind of cost us the points.

“But, overall, the mood was good considering it was a loss and they’ve had from the Wednesday to this Wednesday off and, you know, we’ll go again for the Workington game and prepare well for it and hopefully come on the right side of the scoreboard this week.”

Sunday is likely to see the return of Rob Massam, who has come out of retirement.

However, Owain Abel remains on the sidelines with a knee injury and Pat Ah Van (pictured) is out after suffering a fractured cheekbone versus Oldham.
