PHIL PARKINSON could have influential duo Aaron Hayden and Tom O'Connor available for selection after this weekend's trip to Bromley.

Centre-back Hayden has been out with a calf problem sustained in the 3-3 FA Cup fourth round draw with Sheffield United on January 29 while O’Connor was in a rich vein of form when the midfielder sustained a hamstring injury when leaders Wrexham beat Wealdstone 3-1 in the lNational League on February 11.

The Reds continue the automatic promotion challenge on the 4G pitch at Bromley on Saturday and although Hayden and O'Connor aren't expected to be involved, the pair could come into contention for the home game with York City the following weekend.

"Those two are getting ever closer," said Parkinson.

"It's great that we have carried on winning without them but we need them back.

"Because Andy Cannon has come in and done so well, there has been no need to risk Tom because when he is back, we need him ready to make a contribution.

"He started to establish himself in the team and adds further competition in the midfield area.

"This weekend will come too early because of the 4G pitch but I don't think they will both be too far away after that.

"Tom will come back into the reckoning in a week or two."

Reece Hall-Johnson has returned to training following injury and Bryce Hosannah (hamstring) is making good progress.

"Reece played for the reserves last week and is getting minutes which he needed because he's missed a lot of football this season," added Parkinson.

"Bryce is making good progress.

"It was only a very minor injury so he should be back in training by the end of this week."
