PHIL PARKINSON won't dwell on a set-back in the title race and is looking to get back to winning ways against Dagenham and Redbridge at Victoria Road this evening.

The Reds conceded a late equaliser at Maidenhead in Saturday's tea-time encounter and drew 2-2 but remain top of the National League after Notts County were also held 1-1 with Bromley earlier in the day, a stoppage time leveller earning the Magpies a share of the spoils.

Wrexham hold a one point advantage at the summit over County who have played a game more but despite failing to pick up victory in Berkshire, Parkinson hailed the excellent run of form with his side now unbeaten in 23 league outings.

"It is a terrific run, a great effort from the lads," said the Reds' boss.

"It's a long season but we are enjoying it.

"Every single game we go into, if it is a draw we will try and win it during the game.

"We have got a big expectancy but we are handing that well.

"Unfortunately we had a set-back against Maidenhead but we will move on. We go again."

Wrexham have 11 matches remaining in the quest for automatic promotion and Parkinson will check on two players before naming his starting XI to face the Daggers.

Goalkeeper Rob Lainton and wing-back Anthony Forde missed the Maidenhead stalemate due to illness, with Mark Howard and debutant Ryan Barnett coming into the side.

"We will see on that," added Parkinson.

"Obviously they weren't right to play against Maidenhead but through the season that happens.

"We have got the squad to contend with that and we do, we put the players in.

"I thought Ryan came in and had a really good game in a hard place to play, he showed a lot of quality.

"There is a bit of thinking to do and we will pick the team we feel is right to go there and get another result."
