WREXHAM have been dealt a blow with the news that Tom O'Connor is facing at least a month on the sidelines.
The midfielder has enjoyed a good run in the side and been in fantastic form during Wrexham's automatic promotion push but failed to appear for the second half of Saturday's 3-1 home win against Wealdstone.
Reds' boss Phil Parkinson confirmed that O'Connor, who was filling it at centre-back and missed Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Woking, is now facing a spell on the sidelines along with wing-back Callum McFadzean
The duo join Aaron Hayden, Jordan Tunnicliffe and Reece Hall-Johnson on the treatment table, although midfielder Jordan Davies is closing in on a return to action after suffering a knee injury at the end of November.
"Tom is worse than we thought which is a real blow for us," said Parkinson.
"He has got hamstring problem which is going to keep him out for quite a while. I think it is going to be six weeks.
"Callum has got an ongoing stomach problem which we are not sure how long it is going to keep him out.
"But we have had injuries before and contended with them, and we will do the same again."
