IT'S knockout action for Chester tomorrow - and team boss Calum McIntyre says nothing less than a win will do.

Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Lancaster City are heading to the Deva Stadium for a second round clash in the FA Trophy.

While Chester have lost just once in their last 13 encounters, the Blues will be keen to bounce back from the disappointment of last weekend's 1-1 National League North draw with Leamington.

The Blues looked to be on course for victory on the back of a superb curling strike from Declan Weeks eight minutes into the second half.

However, draw specialists Leamington left the Deva Stadium with a point as Louis Hall levelled in stoppage time.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, McIntyre told Chester FC TV: "The FA Trophy, we're taking that very, very seriously.

"I make no bones about that.

"That, for us, is a game that we've got to win.

"We want to progress in that competition and see where it takes us.

"So, a bit of a different focus for two weeks. A chance to review, reflect, improve, but look, we aren't far away and when we can bridge that gap a little bit better in terms of what we can do, like I say we'll be a lot closer to the finished article."
