SORTING out the wides will be the main priority as Gresford begin the second half of their Premier Division season tomorrow.

A home encounter with Mochdre is next up for Matt Thompson's side, who lost out in their last meeting with unbeaten title favourites Menai Bridge.

You have to be at your best to challenge the Menai Bridge juggernaut this season, but Gresford didn't help themselves by conceding a mammoth 58 extras - including 50 wides - as the Anglesey side struck a match-winning 275 for seven.

Meanwhile, the message from Pontblyddyn will be for more of the same at Pwllheli.

They ended the first half of their campaign in brilliant fashion with a crushing 156-run triumph over Llandudno.

Pontblyddyn will target a magnificent seventh success of the summer as they make the trek to Pwllheli and they could climb into the top-five with a win.

Halkyn and Hawarden Park will be looking to make the most of a weekend off for Division One leaders Denbigh.

With 12 wins from 12 matches this season, Denbigh are 35 points clear at the top, while Halkyn are in the box seat to claim the second promotion berth this season.

Looking for their 10th victory of the summer, Halkyn will head to bottom-of-the-table Bangor Seconds tomorrow.

Hawarden Park are 12 points adrift of the promotion places in fourth spot and they will entertain Connah's Quay.

Gwersyllt Park, in fifth, are not out of the promotion picture and they go to Dolgellau, while Marchwiel and Wrexham are also on their travels to Llanrwst.

Conwy, who sit third, have home advantage versus Buckley.
