HEAD coach Anthony Murray has welcomed the addition of two new faces into the ranks of the North Wales Crusaders.

The Colwyn Bay-based club have signed Dec Gregory and Will Tilleke on initial two-week loan deals from Championship outfit Widnes Vikings.

Speaking ahead of this weekend's return to League 1 action versus Doncaster, Murray said: "You have got to build your links with teams that are playing at a slightly higher level.

"Quality players are made available that will add to the Crusaders' team, you have got to take that into consideration."

It's a key Sunday for the Crusaders, who begin the second half of their season.

Eight wins from their opening 10 matches is an excellent return for the side, but Murray will be keen to see a victory following on from back-to-back defeats against leaders Keighley Cougars and Hunslet.
