CHRISTIAN DIBBLE: Made two crucial saves in first minute of second half but a poor punch led to Grimsby’s second. 6

BRYCE HOSANNAH: Did okay butdrifted out of the game when he was knocked out by Max Crocombe when Wrexham should have had another penalty. 6

CALLUM McFADZEAN: Had his best game since moving from Crewe. Was probably Wrexham’s best defender and was denied a winner at the end of normal time. 8

BEN TOZER: Scored with a back post header but won’t be happy with the goals Wrexham conceded. 6

TYLER FRENCH: Took some batterings with elbows in the face and stood off John McAtee as Grimsby’s star man made it 1-1. 5

MAX CLEWORTH: The teenager’s had a great season but was at fault for the fourth goal, giving Mani Dieseruvwe a free header at the back post. 4

LUKE YOUNG: Nowhere to be seen in the first half but was brilliant after that and set up two goals from corners. 7

JAMES JONES: Didn’t get involved enough and went missing for long periods in the game, playing second fiddle to Ben Fox. 4

JORDAN DAVIES: Had a decent game, scored again and went forward every time he had the chance to. 7

PAUL MULLIN: Won and scored the opening penalty and was brave when going in where it hurts to claim his second, even if there was a suspicion of handball. Also had what looked a perfectly good goal ruled out. 7

OLLIE PALMER: Put himself about but didn’t get much protection from the officials. 6

SUBSTITUTES: LIAM McALINDEN: Did his best to inject a bit of pace. 5

TOM O’CONNOR: Came on at the start of extra-time. 5

JAKE HYDE: Played the last 15 minutes but didn’t see much of the ball. 5

DAN JARVIS: Very late arrival although he did have a half chance to hit target with final attack. 5
