THERE are three reasons for Northop Hall Hockey Club to be cheerful.

The men's first team have secured this season's North West League Division Five championship, while the Champagne has also been out for two of the club's ladies' teams.

Northop Hall's first team made sure of the Division Three title with their 3-1 success at home to Chester Seconds.

Player of the match Seren Cahill-Parsons netted twice, with Angharad Cahill-Parsons also on target for the champions.

A perfect 10 ensured there was also a title success for Northop Hall Seconds to celebrate.

The 10-0 triumph versus Neston Fifths made sure of the Division Five accolade.

Gemma Williams understandably gained the player of the match nod thanks to her five-goal haul.

Northop Hall Thirds concluded their campaign with a 2-2 versus Bebington.

Mother and daughter duo Emily Daglilar and player of the match Poppy Horsley got the goals.

Wrexham Glyndwr ladies' first team ended theur season with a 2-1 success at Liverpool Sefton.

After trailing at the interval, second half striker from Delyth Sharples and Jo Swann won it for Wrexham.
