PHIL PARKINSON wants to continue creating memories as manager of Wrexham and keep the feelgood factor around The Racecourse.

The Reds beat title rivals Stockport 2-0 on Saturday to extend the unbeaten run to 11 games and book a place in the FA Trophy final where they will face Bromley at Wembley on Sunday May 22.

The focus is back on the promotion challenge tonight with third placed Wrexham, 11 points behind Stockport with a game in hand, playing host to Barnet.

"Football is about creating memories," said Parkinson.

"When I was manager of Bradford, we had some great exploits; the amount of Bradford fans who came up to me, and I could be literally anywhere, and said 'I will never forget those days'.

"That is what we want to give the Wrexham supporters.

"Saturday was one of those days and hopefully there are a lot more to come."

Co-chairman Ryan Reynolds was in attendance at the weekend as leading scorer Paul Mullin's injury time brace clinched victory.

Parkinson can sense the positives vibes at the club with Wrexham chasing a league and cup double.

"Ryan is passionate about the club, the fact that he has come over for the game says it all," said Parkinson.

"I think it is great how engaged him and Rob McElhenney are in the football club and the area.

"It is a huge lift having Rob and Ryan as owners of the club, and you can feel in the area there is a real feelgood factor.

"My job is to keep that there with performances on the pitch."
