The first team returned to the top of the table with a crucial 1-0 triumph at Neston Seconds.

Seren Cahill-Parsons was once again the star as she showed her scintillating pace to set up the chance to slot the ball beyond the keeper for the only goal.

Lydia O’Neill was the player of the match.

There was another top-of-the-table clash as Northop Hall Seconds hosted Chester Fourths.

It turned out to be a comfortable win for the home side by a 4-0 margin.

Gemma Williams (2), Rach White and player of the match Sam Llewellyn shared the goals.

There were plenty of goals as Northop Hall Thirds defeated Buckley 5-3 in their derby encounter.

Emily Daglilar grabbed four of the Northop Hall goals and also on the scoresheet was player of the match Bethan Davies.

Three wins out of four ensured that Hall's U18s booked their spot in the semi-finals of the Welsh competition.

In the north pools event, Hall beat Caernarfon 2-0, Llanfair Caereinion 1-0 and Bangor City 2-0, before losing out to Eirias Park.

Despite two goals from Rachel Dathan, Wrexham Glyndwr's first team narrowly lost out 3-2 at Lymm, while the second team were beaten 11-0 by a well-organised Rhyl side.

There was better fortune for Wrexham Glyndwr's men, who triumphed 4-1 at Eirias.

Kyle Preston (2), Damon Smith and Gaz Roberts shared the goals in the top-of-the-table meeting.
