WREXHAM progressed to the last 16 of the FA Trophy with a 5-1 win against seventh-tier Folkestone Invicta at The Racecourse.

Jordan Ponticelli's goal separated the sides at the break but Phil Parkinson's side took control of the fourth round tie in the second half.

Ponticelli made it 2-0 following a brilliant move and Jordan Davies got the third before the Isthmian League Premier Division high-fliers reduced the deficit.

But Wrexham, who created a lot of chances throughout the game, scored another well-taken goal through the lively Bryce Hosannah and Kwame Thomas bagged the fifth to seal a place in Monday's fifth round draw.

Here's how the players rated:

ROB LAINTON: Wasn't overly busy, beaten by a good strike from edge of the area. 7

REECE HALL-JOHNSON: Made a lot of inroads down the right and he set up the second goal. 7

AARON HAYDEN: Wrexham's defence was solid enough to limit Folkestone to few clear cut chances. 7

BEN TOZER: Supplied the cross for Ponticelli's opening goal which got Wrexham up and running. 7

MAX CLEWORTH: Another composed performance back in the side and he had the assist for Hosannah's strike. 7

BRYCE HOSANNAH: Was a big threat down the left particularly in the second half and took his goal well. 8

JAMES JONES: It was an open game as Folkestone didn't sit back but Wrexham upped tempo in second half. 7

LUKE YOUNG: A presence in front of defence and always tried to get things going when he pushed forward. 7

JORDAN DAVIES: More advanced in the second half and it told as he scored and had a hand in other goals. 8

JORDAN PONTICELLI: His good all-round performance was rewarded with two goals. 7

KWAME THOMAS: Got in on the act with the fifth goal. 7
