PHIL PARKINSON wants to reward Wrexham fans for their ‘amazing loyalty’ when the Reds return to The Racecourse on Saturday.

Parkinson’s Reds have been rampant on the road following up their 5-0 hammering of Aldershot Town by caning King’s Lynn Town 6-2 on Saturday - and the club’s superb supporters have been there every step of the way.

Wealdstone visit Wrexham on Saturday where another bumper crowd is expected and where Reds fans will be wanting more goals.

“We want to reward the supporters for their loyalty and for the money they’ve had to spend to get to Aldershot on a Tuesday night and then all the way to King’s Lynn.

“The support this season has been phenomenal both home away and we want to reward those fans on Saturday.”

But Parkinson has pleaded for patience, insisting his side will have to earn the right to get a grip on the game against a Wealdstone team who may head to north Wales to frustrate the home side.

“We’ve got to prepare for a team who will make it hard for us but we’re back at home after two great away wins and we’re full of confidence.”
