TYLER FRENCH wants to take one step closer to a potential glamour third round tie by causing an FA Cup upset against Harrogate Town at Wetherby Road tomorrow.

Wrexham, mid-table in the National League following an indifferent start to the season, face a Harrogate side who are among the pacesetters in League Two.

The Sulphurites go into the first round tie as favourites to progress in the famous competition but French, who came up against Simon Weaver's side when he played for previous club Bradford City, insists the Reds are more than capable of winning.

And a place in round two would leave Wrexham on course for possible clash with a Premier League side.

"Harrogate are a good side," said French.

"I have played against them a few times and they are a hard working side so it is going to be a tough game but we are all looking forward to it.

"We are going there to hopefully win the game.

"We all want to go as far as possible and we all want that big tie.

"To play against the big boys and test ourselves against the highest level."
