PHIL PARKINSON wants more of the same when Wrexham return to league action at Barnet tomorrow.

The Reds produced a much better performance as they beat Marine 2-0 in Tuesday's FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay.

Parkinson rang the changes and although he couldn't fault the effort of his players in Saturday's 1-1 draw between the sides when Wrexham needed a late equaliser to stay in the competition, he got the quality he was looking for second time of asking.

"When you don't play so well you have got to respond to it and I felt we did," said Parkinson.

"We made a few changes, the lads who came in did really well; it gave us a nice freshness to the team and the set-up, and everybody played with more quality in their play.

"That is so important. First, second balls, compete and run, but when the ball comes to you we have got to have that little bit of class and at times I thought we did that well.

"We have got to make sure that we utilise the quality we have got in the team like we did."

Parkinson added: "I thought it was a very professional performance from us and I was very pleased to get the two goals and a clean sheet.

"But it was just the manner of the display as well.

"We competed but we played better in terms of getting a few passes in. On Saturday we competed but didn't play but we competed and at times played some good football.

"You have got to do both sides of the game and I felt we did that, and we looked a threat going forward."
