WTHE big games are coming thick and fast for Wrexham.

The Reds had Grimsby away, Dagenham last week, Chesterfield under the lights to come in 10 days and a trip to Stockport County is next up tomorrow.

Stockport haven't exactly started well but they'll raise their levels for the visit of a Wrexham side they beat twice last season.

While the dangerous John Rooney remains at Edgeley Park, Wrexham are a much-changed outfit, who will undoubtedly get better as the season goes on.

New boss Phil Parkinson has talked about being dominant in both boxes and after letting in seven goals in their four away games so far, the onus will be on keeping it tight tomorrow.

If they do that, then you wouldn't bet against them taking all three points. Maybe, that's being greedy; so let's settle for a point.

NICK HARRISON: Stockport County 2 Wrexham 2

WREXHAM are getting used to bumper crowds and there will be another big attendance for the eagerly awaited clash with Stockport County at Edgeley Park.

After passing the 8,000 mark for the last two home games, Wrexham supporters will be outnumbered by Stockport fans but you can bet that the travelling contingent will still make a lot of noise when they make the short trip up the M56!

Although the Hatters have had an indifferent start to the season, it will still be another tricky test as Phil Parkinson's side continue their tough run of fixtures.

But apart from conceding two poor goals to go behind in the only defeat at Grimsby, Wrexham have dealt with everything thrown at this so far this term.

Although they are still a work in progress, Wrexham are a much better team than last season when they lost both games to Stockport.

Don't bet against the Reds putting the record straight tomorrow with three points of their own but a draw certainly wouldn't be a bad result.
