GOALKEEPER Rob Lainton could be available for tomorrow's clash against Eastleigh at The Silverlake Stadium.

Wrexham's first choice stopper missed the 2-2 draw with Solihull Moors on the opening day due to a back problem, with Christian Dibble lining up between the posts.

Reds' boss Phil Parkinson revealed Lainton returned to full training earlier this week and will be monitored ahead of the Spitfires showdown.

"Rob is back in training," said Parkinson.

"He trained fully on Tuesday so we will access him ahead of the game."

But Reece Hall-Johnson is facing a spell on the sidelines after he was stretchered off with a groin injury at Damson Park.

Centre-back Harry Lennon replaced Hall-Johnson but Parkinson is keeping a close eye on the summer signing who was restricted in game-time during pre-season because of a knee problem.

"Harry still needs managing at this stage," said Parkinson, who is definitely without Shaun Brisley but is keen to bring in defensive reinforcements.
