WALES First Minister revealed who he would like to see win when England and Scotland face each other in the Euros this evening.

The much-anticipated match, the 115th in international football’s oldest rivalry, is the first time the two sides have met in a major tournament since Euro 96, when Paul Gascoigne’s famous goal sealed a 2-0 win.

The mood in Wales buoyant after Gareth Bale and co beat Turkey to make qualifying for the next round all but a certainty.

But at today's Welsh Government coronavirus press briefing , First Minister Mark Drakeford was asked who he would like to see take the three points.

He said he had been asked the question many times today and had tried to give a diplomatic answer.

However, he said: "This is the moment, I think, for Scotland to show what they can do in this competition."
