WHAT a first-half performance by Wrexham!

Dean Keates' side were a huge attacking threat in a one-sided first half and scored three times in the opening 30 minutes.

Shaun Pearson, Luke Young and Jordan Davies gave the Reds a deserved lead, and it should have been more than 3-0 at the break.

It's no exaggeration to say Wrexham could have had eight goals in the first period, and although they had less chances in the second half, still could have added to their tally.

It remained 3-0 and victory extended sixth placed Wrexham's unbeaten run to six games, with just four matches remaining in the race for a play-off spot.

Here's how the players rated:

ROB LAINTON: Yeovil were poor but Lainton still had a couple of first half saves to make. 7

FIACRE KELLEHER: Wrexham’s back three did everything asked of them and deserved clean the sheet. 7

SHAUN PEARSON: Was outstanding at the back. Also scored his first goal of the season with powerful header and close to another. 8

THEO VASSELL: Solid in defence and almost scored late in the first half. 7

REECE HALL-JOHNSON: The wing-backs were a big attacking threat, particularly in the first half. 7

LUKE YOUNG: Rivalled Davies for the man of the match award. Superb game with an assist and goal which makes him the Reds' leading scorer. 8

JAY HARRIS: The holding midfielder just lets Young and Davies play. A huge shame when he went off injured because he was superb. 7

JORDAN DAVIES: Another brilliant display by the midfielder who caused Yeovil a lot of problems. Had the assist for Young’s goal and converted excellent free-kick. 8

CAMERON GREEN: Made his second Wrexham start and again looked the part. 7

GOLD OMOTAYO: Will feel he should have scored but was denied twice by goalkeeper. 7

DIOR ANGUS: Made some good runs in the first half and could have scored himself. 7

SUBSTITUTES

PAUL RUTHERFORD: Worked hard when he took over from Harris. 6

JORDAN PONTICELLI: Didn’t get much time. 5

DAN JARVIS: Another late substitute. 5
