WREXHAM'S promotion challenge is fading but new signing Keanu Marsh-Brown believes a much needed victory over Halifax tonight can put the Reds back on track.

Saturday's 3-0 loss at home to Stockport was Wrexham's third defeat in a row and leaves the eighth placed Reds three points behind the Shaymen, who occupy the final play-off place.

Dean Keates' side face Halifax in a crunch clash for both sides at The Shay this evening and Marsh-Brown, who has won promotion from the National League with Barnet and Forest Green Rovers, remains upbeat about Wrexham's chances of finishing in the top seven with 10 games to go.

"We need to stick together as a squad," said the winger. "Things don't go right all the time.

"But the table is tight and we are still around it.

"As long as we get a few results on the table we will be fine.

"If we can get a few results on the bounce, anything is possible in this league.

"That is the main objective."
