ATTACKING trio Gold Omotayo, Chris Sang and Keanu Marsh-Brown have joined Wrexham on non-contract terms.

All three players have trained with the Reds this week and, after impressing manager Dean Keates - short of strike options for the promotion push after seeing Kwame Thomas and Jordan Ponticelli pick up injuries - have been added to the squad ahead of today's clash against play-off rivals Stockport County at The Racecourse.

Marsh-Brown has gone straight into the starting XI with Omotayo and Sang on the substitutes bench.

Tall Swiss striker Omotayo and Guyanan winger Marsh-Brown were both with Gloucester City most recently, while Sang - another striker - last played for Barnsley.

Omotayo, 27, also enjoyed a short stint with Halifax Town this season and counts Yeovil Town and Bury among his former clubs.

Marsh-Brown helped Forest Green Rovers clinch promotion to the Football League after beating Tranmere 3-1 in the 2017 National League play-off final.

Prior to his brief spell with Gloucester this season, the 28-year-old - who has also played for the likes of Newport, Barnet and Yeovil - played in America’s USL Championship for Memphis 901.

He has won 11 caps for Guyana, and was part of their squad for their World Cup qualifiers last month.

Sang came through Wigan’s youth academy and made his senior debut for Bury in 2017.

The 21-year-old was most recently with Barnsley Under-23s, and spent time on loan with Guiseley.

On signing for Wrexham, Omotayo told the official club website: “I’m delighted to be here and to get it over the line. We don’t need to talk about how massive a club it is and it’s a big opportunity for me.

“I’m here to impress, we all know what the goal is and I’m here to get the job done. I can feel the togetherness here already so I’m really feeling good and ready to get started.”

Marsh-Brown said: “I feel fully fit. I was away with the national team and before that I was training full-time so my fitness is up to scratch.

“I feel I can add experience, especially at this time of the season and going into the play-offs. I’ve got a lot of experience going into these games and I know how to win them."

Sang added: “I’m excited. It’s a big opportunity, going for the play-offs. I want to stay here, I want to prove myself, so I’m happy to be here.

“I like to run in behind, I like the ball to feet too, hopefully I can get a few goals as well.”

With Thomas facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after rupturing an Achilles' in training and Ponticelli still missing with a hamstring problem, Dior Angus was Wrexham's only fit recognised striker prior to Keates bolstering his attacking options.

Keates was only able to sign free agents due to Wrexham being a Welsh club.
