WREXHAM are going into a run of games which Jordan Davies believes will "shape our season".

The Reds, who are fifth in the National League, entertain Bromley at The Racecourse tomorrow.

It is the first of five successive fixtures against teams currently in the top-eight and Davies admits Wrexham, beaten just once in their last 13 outings, cannot afford to take the foot off the gas.

"I can't wait to get back, it feels strange not having played Saturday or Tuesday," said Davies.

"We will be fresh and hopefully we can get three points on the board against another side challenging for promotion.

"The next four or five fixtures are basically six-point fixtures against top sides so they should shape our season.

"We need to be strong going into them, have a good mentality and give it everything we have got."

The clash with Bromley is the first of 14 games heading into the business end of the season and Davies, who returned to his hometown club in the summer after a spell with Brighton, is looking to play his part in one final push.

"Hopefully I spend as much time as I can on the pitch in the remaining games and hopefully we do more than enough to get over the line," added Davies.
