NOT many midfielders at this level score more goals than Harry Beautyman.

The 28-year-old has already bagged eight goals in 22 league games this term and is Sutton’s joint top scorer.

That excellent record comes on the back of Beautyman netting 17 times in 2019-20 which saw him voted Club Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Club Player of the Year, earning him inclusion in the National League team of the season.

Beautyman rejoined the U’s for a second spell in January 2018 from Stevenage and he has now made more than 200 appearances, scoring over 50 goals, to become a huge fans’ favourite.

He first moved to Gander Green Lane in the summer of 2011 after being released by Leyton Orient, where he had been reserve team captain.

After scoring 24 goals in 105 games over the next two seasons, winning the Supporters’ Club Player of the Year award in his first campaign and earning recognition at England C level, Beautyman made the switch to Welling in 2013.

Equally as impressive in just over two seasons with the Wings, Beautyman earned a move to the Football League with Peterborough in November 2015.

Beautyman scored five goals in 40 league games for the Posh before spending the 2016-17 campaign with Northampton and he joined Stevenage at the start of the following season, heading back to Sutton midway through the 2017-18 campaign.
