JORDAN DAVIES knows more than most in the Wrexham squad what the Reds takeover means to the club.
Davies, who hails from Coedpoeth, started his career at his home-town club and the former academy graduate returned to The Racecourse in the summer after leaving Brighton and Hove Albion.
Having put pen to paper on a two-year deal, the 22-year-old will be part of an exciting future for the north Wales club with Hollywood actors Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds expected to take control of the Reds this month.
The club has been owned by Wrexham Supporters Trust since 2011 and Davies has urged fans to sit back and enjoy the ride.
"It is crazy," said Davies. "I think it is going to be an exciting couple of years for the football club.
"It means so much to me out of anyone in the squad because it is my home-town club.
"It is an exciting time for everyone; my friends and family, it is a really good time for everyone.
"Hopefully we have seen the back of the fans having to do their work - they can sit back and enjoy the ride!"
