WREXHAM ended 2020 with a 2-0 defeat against Stockport County following a woeful first half performance.

The Reds conceded both goals inside the opening 15 minutes and could have trailed by more at the break as County carved out a host of chances.

Dean Keates' side came more into the game in the second period while Stockport had more chances to add to the scoreline, but they had already done enough.

ROB LAINTON: Made a couple of decent saves in both halves to keep the score down. 6

FIACRE KELLEHER: Wrexham were shaky at the back and could have lost by more. 4

SHAUN PEARSON: Stockport put Wrexham under pressure but the Reds were guilty of poor defending. 4

THEO VASSELL: The centre-backs struggled to deal with Stockport who created chances and took some of them. 4

REECE HALL-JOHNSON: Was unable to get forward to support attacks until the second half. 4
