WREXHAM endured a frustrating night as the five-game unbeaten run was ended by Altrincham.

The Reds dominated the first half at The Racecourse and had good chances to take the lead but the visitors scored what turned out to be the only goal just before the break when Dean Keates' side switched off from a corner.

In the second half, Wrexham were less creative and failed to scored an equaliser, falling to seventh in the National League as a result of the loss.

Here's how the players rated:

CHRISTIAN DIBBLE: Beaten once but pulled off saves to keep Reds in the game. 7

REECE HALL-JOHNSON: Got forward a lot to support attacks, sometimes nervy at the back. 6

FIACRE KELLEHER: Captain for the night, Kelleher was solid but Wrexham conceded again from a corner. 6

THEO VASSELL: Hit the crossbar with an early chance but the Reds switched off for the goal. 6

JAMIE RECKORD: Like Hall-Johnson, he was an attacking outlet but had some lapses. 6

PAUL RUTHERFORD: Couldn't fault work rate but was the first player to be substituted. 6

LUKE YOUNG: Covered a lot of ground but Wrexham were not as good second half. 6

JORDAN DAVIES: Supplied some useful balls into the box when Wrexham were on top. 7

ELLIOTT DURRELL: Put himself about but unable to break his former side down. 6

ADI YUSSUF: Didn't have any real chances despite some good balls into the box. 6

KWAME THOMAS: Bicycle kick was saved before the break and was frustrated second half. 6

ANTHONY JEFFREY: Didn't really get into the game. 4
