STEVE JENKINS felt Barnet had the better chances to claim all three points at Wrexham.

The Bees were boosted by the return of defensive trio Alexander McQueen, Matthew Preston and James Dunne as they picked up a hard-fought goalless draw at The Racecourse on Tuesday night.

Reds' boss Dean Keates felt his side were lacking a cutting edge in the final third, but Barnet assistant head coach Jenkins believes the visitors were the more likely to win the game.

Jenkins, leading Barnet in the absence of boss Peter Beadle, said: "Under the circumstances I think we can be happy with a point. Looking at the game in its entirety we probably had the best chances.

"You can't fault the boys effort or application, they have given it absolutely everything and on another day could have had the three points."

The former Wales international, continued: "I am hugely proud of our efforts. I am really pleased with the clean sheet, that's two on the bounce in the league.

"It will be nice to put this whole episode behind us and get all of the boys back, so we can really focus on both the league and the cup matches coming up."
