WREXHAM manager Dean Keates admitted his side were nowhere near good enough in the 4-3 defeat at Wealdstone and he wasn't wrong.
The Reds produced an awful performance where the defending was all over the place.
A host of chances were missed at the other end but Wrexham still scored three times - and you should never lose a game after bagging that many goals.
Four goals came in an eight minute spell in the first half, an own goal and Adi Yussuf making it 2-2.
But the second half became embarrassing as Wrexham conceded two goals from set-pieces.
Things weren't working but only one substitution - which was enforced - was made by the Reds who scored a consolation in added time through Yussuf.
This was a second defeat in a week against a side sitting bottom of the National League and it was a display that was nowhere near up to scratch.
Here's how the players rated:
ROB LAINTON: Didn’t have any real saves to make but was beaten four times in the defeat. 4
REECE HALL-JOHNSON: Could have done better with first goal when carved open down the right too easily. 3
FIACRE KELLEHER: Has looked a good signing but the Wrexham back line was very shaky. 3
THEO VASSELL: Wealdstone caused problems that the Reds’ back four couldn’t deal with. 3
JAMIE RECKORD: The defence was all over the place and a lot of it was their own makings. 3
ELLIOTT DURRELL: Didn’t really get into the game on the right flank and has been more effective. 3
JAY HARRIS: Can’t question his commitment and the captain tried to get Wrexham going. 5
LUKE YOUNG: The midfielder never stops running, even if things don’t work out. 4
PAUL RUTHERFORD: Set-up Yussuf with a great chance but went off injured before the break. 3
KWAME THOMAS: Quiet afternoon for the striker but he was not on his own as Wrexham underperformed. 3
ADI YUSSUF: Wrexham didn’t play well but got two goals to open his Reds’ account. Could have got more. 6
DAN JARVIS: Lively when he came on and was strangely the only Wrexham substitute when things weren't working. 4
