WREXHAM warmed up for the new season with a 4-0 thrashing of hosts Kiddermsinter Harriers.

Tuesday's trip to another National League North side Telford United ended in a goal-less draw but Dean Keates' Reds had their shooting boots on at Aggborough.

Midfielder Luke Young fired in the opener with an effort from the edge of the box while striker Kwame Thomas scored number two from close range.

Thomas then set up Elliott Durrell for the third just before the break and Adi Yussuf completed the comfortable win 23 minutes into the second half.
