RESULTS are not important in pre-season but Dean Keates still wants Wrexham to build momentum by maintaining the unbeaten run against Kidderminster Harriers tomorrow.
The Reds won their opening two friendlies against Cefn Druids and a Salford City XI before drawing 0-0 at Telford United in midweek.
Wrexham now face another National League North outfit in the shape of Kidderminster at Aggborough and while giving the players more game-time ahead of the 2020-21 campaign is the priority, Keates would like another positive result.
"We have still got three games to go," said Keates.
"Like Tuesday, Kidderminster will be a realistic test for us and it is where you learn stuff about the players.
"We have had two wins, a draw and kept a clean sheet.
"We will go to Kidderminster and we want to keep momentum so we want to make sure it is a positive result.
"But we need to start looking at bits and pieces now; we need to make sure when we turn the ball over, our quality is a little bit better to hurt teams.
"We got behind Telford a few times, especially first half, crosses were either a little bit too high or under-hit so we need to make sure we start nailing these things down over the next two weeks."
