Here's a top ten of Wrexham FC best double acts up front?

Andy Morrell has evoked memories of his partnership with Lee Trundle that shot Wrexham to promotion 17 years ago.

But are they the best pairing in the last 50 seasons at The Racecourse?

ANDY MORRELL and LEE TRUNDLE (2002/2003): Morrell was on fire in the promotion season, scoring 39 goals in all competitions. According to Morrell, Trundle set up half of those as well as scoring 14 himself.

DIXIE McNEIL and BOBBY SHINTON (1977/78): McNeil played 33 games and scored 25 goals - 11 of them in the FA Cup while silky winger Shinton netted 24 in a never-to-be-forgotten season.

BILLY ASHCROFT and GRAHAM WHITTLE (1976/77): Whittle also bagged 24 goals in the promotion season but you can only appear once in this list and he starred alongside Big Billy Ashcroft the season before. Whittle blasted home 35 goals with Ashcroft scoring 29.

KEVIN RUSSELL and GRAHAM COOPER (1988/89): Rooster Russell fired The Reds into the play-offs with 36 goals while Cooper - the long-haired winger from Huddersfield - chipped in with 14.

GARY BENNETT and STEVE WATKIN (1992/93): Benno has to go down as Wrexham's best-ever free transfer signing. He scored 23 in that promotion with Wrexham-born Watkin not far behind with 21.

RAY SMITH and ALBERT KINSEY (1969/70): Kinsey helped himself to 28 goals while Smith's 18-goal return - one put Wrexham 1-0 up at Anfield in the FA Cup - helped Wrexham to promotion.

JIM STEEL and STEVE CHARLES (1985/86): Charles liked to get forward and his 22-goal return proves that in a season where Steel hit the 20 mark.

JAKE SPEIGHT and MATHIAS POGBA (2011/12): Wrexham amassed a club record 98 points - Speight top scoring with 21 league goals and Pogba adding 11 - but the Reds were pipped to the Conference title by big spending Fleetwood.

LOUIS MOULT and ANDY BISHOP (2014/15): Louis Moult finished the season with 23 goals in all competitions - 16 came in the league - with Bishop also getting into double figures, but the Reds lost the FA Trophy final.

MARC WILLIAMS and JEFFERSON LOUIS (2008/09): The pair hit it off during Wrexham's first campaign in the Conference, the duo scoring 28 league goals between them before Williams suffered a season-ending injury in February.
