ADI YUSSUF has become Dean Keates' seventh new signing of the summer with the striker joining Wrexham on loan from Blackpool until the end of the 2020-21 season.

The 28-year-old, a Tanzania international, makes the switch from the League One club who he joined in the summer of 2019 following an impressive spell with Solihull Moors in the National League.

Yussuf scored 21 goals in 54 games for Solihull in all competitions during the 2018-19 campaign, helping the Damson Park outfit finish runners-up behind champions Leyton Orient.

That earned Yussuf his switch to Blackpool but he found it difficult to break into the first team and he had loan spells back at Solihull and with Boreham Wood during 2019-20.

Yussuf, who has also played for the likes of Tamworth, Burton, Lincoln, Oxford City, Mansfield, Crawley, Grimsby and Barrow, is delighted to link up with the Wrexham squad.

He told the club's official website: “I’ve played here a few times, I know a few of the boys and I can’t wait to get started.

“Hopefully I’ll bring the goals and the hard work and hopefully we can do big things this year.

“I’ve seen the boys that have signed, the boys that are here. It’s a good bunch of lads so I think this year could be a good year for us."
