CONNAH'S QUAY NOMADS have made a statement of intent by signing Aeron Edwards from rivals The New Saints.
Edwards, widely considered one of the best midfielder's in the Cymru Premier, has made the move from Park Hall to the Deeside Stadiun after 11 years with Saints.
Wales C international Edwards, 32, said: "It's been a difficult decision after spending 11 great years at TNS, but I felt it was the right time for a new challenge.
"I'm really looking forward to working with Andy, Craig, Jay and the rest of the team."
Reigning champions Nomads are delighted to have Edwards onboard, boss Andy Morrison saying: "Aeron is a player I have admired for many years and we're delighted to sign him.
"He will add quality to our already talented squad."
Edwards won nine Cymru Premier titles, five Welsh Cups and six League Cups with The New Saints, who he joined after playing for Brickfield Rangers, Buckley Town and Caersws.
